Význam zoskupenia Visegradská štvorka v kontexte európskych integračných procesov

Abstract

Integračné procesy sú nedielnou súčasťou nielen histórie, ale i súčasnosti a budúcnosti Európy. V rámci regionálnej kooperácie sú tendencie vytvárať zoskupenia krajín, ktoré spájajú geografické, historické, politické, kultúrne a ekonomické podobnosti v očakávaní spolupráce a rozvoja najmä v týchto oblastiach. Rovnako sa takýmto spôsobom zosilňuje hlas malých krajín v Európe. Toto je aj obraz vzniku a existencie Vyšehradskej skupiny, ktorá spája Česku republiku, Slovenskú republiku, Maďarsko a Poľsko. Počas jej dvadsaťročnej histórie si vybudovala pevnú pozíciu a zaslúžila rešpekt ostatných krajín, čo sa odráža aj v tom, že slúži ako vzor pre iné štáty, najmä v oblasti západného Balkánu. Táto bakalárska práca analyzuje Vyšehradskú skupinu v priereze jej existencie, popisuje intenzitu a kvalitu vzťahov členských štátov v jednotlivých časových obdobiach, rovnako aj podáva obraz o nazeraní zahraničia na V4 a v neposlednom rade sa snaží predpovedať ďalšie pôsobenie tohto zoskupenia v rámci Európy.

Integration processes are an integral part of not only history but also present and the future of Europe. In the framework of regional cooperation is a tendency to create clusters of countries that combine geographical, historical, political, cultural and economic similarities in expectations of cooperation and development, especially in those areas. Similarly, this way amplifies the voice of small countries in Europe. This is also a picture of the Visegrad Group existence, which brings together the Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Hungary and Poland. During its twenty years of history it have built a strong position and deserved the respect of other countries, and this is reflected in the fact that it serves as a model for other states, particularly in the Western Balkans. This thesis analyzes the Visegrad group in the cross section of its existence, described the intensity and quality of relations between Member States in different time periods, as well as give a picture of contemplating abroad for V4 and last but not least, try to predict the fate of this group in Europe.
