Technické aspekty svařování termoplastů laserem

Abstract

This masters work deals with transmission laser welding of chosen plastic parts, specifically polycarbonates. In the theoretical part, the laser principles are described, which are used for this technology, furthermore process variants, description of the laser welding machine and finally materials for the practice part. Preparation and setting of parameters of welding are used by testing plates, which are from the same material as is used in the headlamps. The main focus is on the connection between setting the parameters and the final quality of the weld and on the influence of temperature.
