Studium tenkých povlaků aplikovaných metodou HVOF

Abstract

Bachelor thesis is dealing with study of thin coatings applied by HVOF method. The theoretical part of bachelor thesis will be targeted on the methods of thermal spraying, application, materials which are suitable for application and finally on parameters and practical application of individual methods. The practical part of bachelor thesis will be focused on aplication of heating spray created by high velocy oxygen fuel method. We will tested two kinds of additional powder Cr3C2-NiCr and WC-CrC-Ni. These additional powder will be tested in practical of rod mill and in laboratory. The practical tests will be implemented in rod mill. We will applied two kinds of additional powder on rollers from loop scanner. After one month in working we will check and test this rollers. The laboratory testing will be in company VZÚ Plzeň. There will be tested the basic properties like abrasion resistance, adhesion strenght, surface roughness, microstructure and metalografy. In the next part the results of testing will be evaluated and compared. In finally of practical part will be evaluated experiment on rod mill. In the end of bachelor thesis will be assessed the economical view of making the new roller from tool steel and making the roller from carbon steel with aplication of thermal spray which will be maked by HVOF method.
