The aim of this work is to resolve the problems associated with difficult access to public facilities for persons with limited mobility or orientation. The first part is focused on the analysis of current state of solved area and approach of the topic of barrier - free use. In the second part, there are proposal solutions for problem places of barrier - free tracks in the area around the Horní street located in the urban district named Ostrava – Jih with respecting principles of National Development Program Mobility for All and programs of the State Fund for Transport Infrastructure.
