Abstract

The submitted diploma thesis deals with complex securing of a hydroelectric power station. The work is divided in two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part aims at providing elementary information on the field of energy production; it focuses namely on production, transmission, and distribution of electric energy. One chapter of the thesis is dedicated to physical security in all its aspects, including legal regulations and normative framework in physical security. The final section of the theoretical part deals with the issue of physical security and it brings statistic data pertaining criminality in the described locality. The practical part of the thesis contains analyses and assessments of risky aspects of the security object. The Following analysis are presented in the thesis proposals of security measures to protect the property of the object of Small hydropower station. These proposals are then compared with each other based on the selected comparative method. There is also an economic evaluation of the proposed variants security measures.
