Problematika vstupu Turecka do Evropské unie

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou vstupu Turecké republiky do Evropské unie. Práce si klade za cíl na základě analýzy vyhodnotit, jak Turecko plnilo v roce 2016 přístupová kritéria podle Zprávy Evropské komise z téhož roku (Turkey 2016 Report) a následně komparovat, jakého pokroku Turecko dosáhlo ve srovnání s rokem 2015. Práce charakterizuje samotnou Tureckou republiku a následně vztahy Turecka s Evropskou unií. Dále analyzuje pokrok země v Kodaňských kritériích, který porovnává s předchozím rokem a vyhodnocuje jej. Danou analýzou bylo zjištěno, že Turecko nedosahuje pokroku v plnění přístupových kritérií, je však nadále podstatné pro obě strany tyto přístupové rozhovory vést.

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of accession of the Republic of Turkey to the European Union. The paper aims to analyze how Turkey fulfilled the accession criteria in 2016 according to the European Commission's report (Turkey 2016 Report) and then compare the progress made by Turkey compared to the year 2015. The work characterizes the Republic of Turkey itself and Turkey's relations with the European Union. It further analyzes the progress of the country in the Copenhagen criteria, which it compares with the previous year and evaluates it. Analysis was found Turkey is not making progress in meeting the accession criteria, but it is still essential for both sides to lead these accession talks.
