Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on the plasma spray coating. The theoretical part deals with methods of the plasma spray coating, its principles, operating parameters, characteristics and uses in practice. In the experimental part there are described properties and parameters of applied coating equipment, there are also described chemical and mechanical properties of applied materials including their utilization. By spray coating of applied material were made test samples, which were put to the tests, namely the metallographic test, the hardness test, the measurement of the thickness of the spray coating and the measurement of the porosity of the spray coating.
