Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the issues of the eHealth. I have chosen this topic because the evolution of the eHealth is comparatively discussed and because of the legislation and scepticism of doctors the implementation is practically and technically very demanding. The aim of this bachelor thesis is the evaluation of implementation the eHealth in Czech Republic. This thesis analysis the development and the current state of eHealth in our territory. The thesis is divided into 5 chapters. The first chapter contains an introduction. The second one clarifies the concepts of eHealth, describes its history, legislation, possible approaches to it and the advantages and disadvantages for all users. The third chapter includes the statistical part and the analysis of two selected hospitals, which are the Ostrava university hospital and the City hospital of Ostrava. In the fourth chapter the selected eHealth indicators are evaluated and their evaluation is applied to selected hospital facilities. The final fifth chapter presents suggestions and recommendations for successful implementation of eHealth at the local level.
