Abstract

This master thesis deals with the cross-border cooperation of the integrated rescue system units. The first part describes the integrated rescue system in the Czech Republic and its components. The activities of the emergency medical service are detailed here. It also describes how firefighters, police and paramedics work in Austria, Germany, Poland and Slovakia. The second part is about the cross-border cooperation of the Fire Rescue Service, the Emergency medical service and the Police in the South Moravian Region. The cross-border cooperation of the Emergency medical service is detailed, including a sample of the web application. Next part is about currently concluded agreements on cross-border cooperation of the basic components of the integrated rescue system units with all surrounding states. The third part contains the basis for further solutions to this issue.
