Abstract
The thesis deals with the design and implementation of a laboratory model of a belt weighing feeder. The aim of the thesis is to design and build a functional model of a weighing belt feeder, which will be able to weigh and dispense bulk material in industrial processes. In this thesis, firstly, the methods of weighing bulk materials on belt conveyors are analyzed, the design from the point of view of construction, the design of sensors and actuators, their subsequent configuration and interfacing with the control system. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the mathematical description of the developed model, the design of the control algorithm and the visualization on the HMI panel. The thesis concludes with a functional test of the created model.
