Abstract

This bachelor thesis addresses the unique methods of evidence gathering in criminal proceedings, which are defined in the Czech legal order in Act No. 141/1961 Coll., on criminal proceedings, under the provisions of § 104a to 104e, such as confrontation, identification, investigative experiment, reconstruction, and site inspection. The theoretical part of the thesis first outlines the process of evidence gathering in criminal proceedings and then details these unique methods from both procedural and criminalistic-tactical perspectives. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the applicability of these procedural acts from the perspective of the police authority, where members of the Police of the Czech Republic were surveyed through a questionnaire.
