Európska únia a Spojené štáty americké v boji proti terorizmu

Abstract

Názov mojej práce je Európska únia a Spojené štáty americké v boji proti terorizmu. Cieľom mojej práce bolo podrobné zmapovanie a zhodnotenie foriem a prínosu spolupráce medzi Spojenými štátmi americkými a Európskou úniou v boji proti terorizmu. Diplomová práca je rozdelené do troch hlavných kapitol. V prvej charakterizujem terorizmus ako taký. Postupne sa v siedmych podkapitolách venujem problematike vytvorenia spoločnej definície, hlavným formám a historickému vývoju terorizmu, pričom hlavný dôraz je kladený na súčasný stav. Posledná podkapitola je zameraná na jednotlivé teroristické organizácie a ich pôsobnosť. Druhá kapitola je orientovaná na oblasť strategických dokumentov a významných iniciatív. V prvej podkapitole je pozornosť orientovaná na všeobecný legislatívny vývoj vo svete v 20. storočí. Následne dve sa už zaoberajú prijatými strategickými dokumentmi a iniciatívami Európskej únie a Spojených štátov amerických po roku 2001. Hlavný dôraz je kladený na poslednú kapitolu. V prvej podkapitole sa zaoberám hlavnými postojmi, ktoré ovplyvňujú medzinárodné vzťahy oboch. V nasledujúcich dvoch sa zameriavam na konkrétne formy spolupráce v oblastiach policajných a justičných orgánov a bilaterálnych dohôd. Posledná časť ja zameraná na splnenie daného cieľa. Hodnotím v nej zmapované formy spolupráce medzi USA a EÚ a zaoberám sa ich budúcnosťou.

The topic of my thesis is the European Union and the United States in the fight against terrorism. The main goal of this work is to mapping and recovering in detail of forms and benefits of cooperation between the European Union and United States the in the fight against terrorism. The thesis is divided into three main chapters. In the first I characterize terrorism as such. In the seven subchapters I dedicate gradually to issue of common definition creating, the main forms and history with big accent to current situation. The last subchapter is orriented to terrorist organizations and their activity. The topic of the second chapter is section of strategic documents and important initiatives. In the first subchapter is an attention oriented to a general legislative progress in the world in the 20th century. Next two subchapters already deals in accepted strategic documents and initiatives of European Union and United States of Ameica after year 2001. The main accent is placed to the last chapter. In the first subchapter I analyze main attitudes, witch create the international relations of both. In next two subchapters I am orriented to specific forms of cooperation in the section of police and judicial institutions and bilateral agreaments. The main goal is solved in the last subchapter. I analyze forms of cooperation betwen EU and USA and look at their future progress in this section.
