Dobývání renty v globalizované ekonomice

Abstract

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je analýza prostředí globalizované ekonomiky, které přináší nové možnosti pro dobývání renty. Nejen národní státy, ale také světové regiony jsou totiž nuceny být co možná nejkonkurenceschopnější, investičně nejpřitažlivější, či nejatraktivnější. Teoretická část této práce je nejprve zaměřena na vývoj politické ekonomie a fenomén dobývání renty. Následně se kapitola věnuje globalizaci. Třetí kapitola se zabývá tradičními funkcemi národního státu v konfrontaci globalizace a důsledkem převrácení role státu a podnikatelské sféry. Důsledkem této inverze je účast států v soutěži o přízeň ekonomických subjektů. Tato skutečnost přináší geniální možnost pro dobývání renty. Ve čtvrté kapitole je zhodnocena investiční přitažlivost České republiky v celosvětovém kontextu.

The subject of this thesis is to analyze the globalized economic environment, which brings new opportunities for the rent-seeking. Not only nation states but also regions of the world are in fact forced to be as competitive, investment-attractive, or appealing, as possible. The theoretical part of this thesis is at first devoted to the development of political economics and the phenomenon of the rent-seeking. Then, this chapter focuses on globalization. The third chapter deals with the traditional functions of nation state in the confrontation of globalization and the effects of inversion of the role of the state and the business community. The result of this inversion is the states' participation in the competition for the favor of economic subjects. This fact brings a great opportunity for the rent-seeking. In the fourth chapter the investment attractiveness of the Czech Republic is evaluated.
