Abstract

Tato práce pojednává o biometrických technologiích, zejména o pokročilé identifikaci osob. Objasňuje základní zákonitosti a principy biometrik. Stručně popisuje a porovnává současné metody biometrické identifikace. Hlavní část práce je zaměřena na způsob získávání a úpravu obrazu otisku prstu.

This work deals with the biometric technologies, mainly with the advanced personal identification. It explains the basic rules and principles of biometrics. It briefly describes and compares the current methods of biometric identification. The main part of the work is focused on the fingerprint capturing and the fingerprint image processing.
