Abstract
The scope of this diploma dissertation was to draw up a project of constructional design of grinder for grinding magnesia blocks.
It is a case of brand new machine. By parameters it comes out from previous series B 600 but its construction, driving mechanism and design is fundamentally different, it has later and modern design.
In first part I deal with design of a grinder frame, its construction, attachment of driving gears and lay out of electric power line.
As following I deal with suitable construction of grinder transverse beam, its shape and suitable placement for its positioning.
Then I deal with suitable construction of horizontal support, which has to ensure advance rotary and rectilinear motion and indexing 30°.
At last I choose suitable alignment ensuring continuous and precise rectilinear movement of all grinder parts, driving gears and ball screws for positioning of transverse beam, horizontal support and tilting of grinding wheel.
All designed parts have been submitted to F.E.M simulation (Finite Element Method). Total precision of the grinder was set on the basis of these simulation results.
