Cílem této práce je komplexně popsat systém ISAD, tedy integrovaný startér alternátor tlumič (anglicky Integrated Starter Alternator Damper). Je zde část věnována podrobnému rozboru konstrukce a popisu jednotlivých částí systému a jejich komponentů. Poté je zde pojednáno o různých stavech provozu tohoto zařízení, jakou funkci při nich plní a jak celkově přispívá v jednotlivých režimech k celkové účinnosti hnacího systému vozidla opatřeného tímto zařízením. Na závěr je rozebrána problematika možných poruch systému ISAD, bezpečnostní opatření systému, jejich funkce a to, jak ISAD ovlivňuje ostatní části hnacího ústrojí a vliv těchto části naopak na systém ISAD.

The aim of this thesis is complex characterization of ISAD system. Full meaning of abbreviation ISAD is Integrated Starter Alternator Damper. In this thesis there is a part which is dedicated to a structure of the device and its components. After that a different operating states are discussed and so the functions of ISAD device during this states and how ISAD contributes to the overall efficiency of the vehicle drivetrain. At the end of this thesis are explained issues about possible faults of the system and safety functions. There is also described how ISAD influences other parts of the drivetrain and vice versa how other parts of drivetrain influence ISAD.
