Abstract

The aim of this Master’s thesis is the preparation of a project for the construction of a family house with low-energy or even a passive standard while respecting the shape and construction of the building not only in terms of the constructional part, but also in regards to the method of heating and the air handling system. The greatest emphasis is put on the solution of the construction composition in terms of the heating and technical aspects, and the correct layout and dimensions of the heating and air handling distribution system in this building to achieve the lowest energy consumption as possible to assure thermal comfort in the building. The project includes the design of a two-pipe hot-water heating system made of copper, which utilizes KORATHERM heating bodies and the air handling system of ATREA s.r.o.. The heating and handling system will be connected to the joint source of heat – a condensing boiler GEMINOX THRs 1-10SET-160. The family house is designed for a permanent habitation of five people. It has two floors without a basement and with a flat roof. The goal is comfortable and trouble-free living and the efforts to achieve a low-energy or even passive standard.
