Hospodářské vztahy České republiky s Jižní Koreou na příkladu firmy Hyundai

Abstract

Cílem této bakalářské práce je podat přehledné informace o obchodních a investičních vztazích Jižní Koreje s Evropskou unií a Českou republikou a zaměřit se na dopady investice firmy Hyundai na HDP Moravskoslezského kraje, zaměstnanost České republiky i Moravskoslezského kraje a strukturu české ekonomiky. První kapitola pojednává o hospodářských vztazích mezi Evropskou unií a Korejskou republikou, přičemž je popsána jejich historie i současné smluvní vztahy, ze kterých vzájemná spolupráce vyplývá. V druhé kapitole jsou blíže specifikovány obchodní a investiční vztahy mezi Českou republikou a Jižní Koreou. Jsou zde uvedeny bilaterální i multilaterální smlouvy, které obě země mezi sebou uzavřely nebo jsou jejich signatáři. V této kapitole je přehledně popsán vzájemný obchod se zbožím a službami a vzájemné přímé zahraniční investice. Texty jsou doplněny tabulkami, které sumarizují hodnoty produktů, služeb a investic, jež mezi oběma zeměmi proudí. V poslední, analytické, kapitole je rozebíráno působení automobilové firmy Hyundai v České republice a dopad této investice na zaměstnanost, úroveň HDP a strukturu české ekonomiky. Podrobně jsou zde popsány podmínky, za jakých firma spolu se svými dodavateli vstoupila na český trh, objem výroby v jednotlivých letech a prodeje těchto automobilů vyrobených v českém závodě. Zvláštní část kapitoly je též věnována zaměstnanosti ve firmě Hyundai. Obsahem poslední kapitoly je analýza dopadu investice firmy Hyundai na HDP Moravskoslezského kraje, úroveň zaměstnanosti v Moravskoslezském kraji i v České republice a odvětvovou strukturu české ekonomiky. Závěrem jsou definovány přínosy, ale i negativní dopady, které s sebou tato investice přinesla.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide well-arranged information about trade and investment relations between South Korea, the European Union and the Czech Republic and focus on the impact of Hyundai Motor Company's investment on the GDP of the Moravian Silesian region, employment rate of the Czech Republic and the Moravian Silesian region and the structure of Czech economy. The first chapter deals with the economic relations between the European Union and the Republic of Korea and describes the history and current contractual relations that the mutual co-operation follows. In the second chapter there are specified trade and investment relations between the Czech Republic and South Korea. All bilateral and multilateral agreements which both countries have concluded are presented. This chapter contains descriptions of mutual trade in goods and services and mutual foreign direct investment. Texts are accompanied by tables that summarize the value of products, services and investments that flow between these two countries. The last analysing chapter includes a description of activities of Hyundai Motor Comapny in the Czech Republic and its impact on employment rate, GDP and the structure of Czech economy. There are closey described the conditions of entering the Czech market, the annually volume of production and sales of cars that are manufactured in the Czech factory. A special part of the chapter is also devoted to employment in the Hyundai Motor Company. A final chapter is an analysis of the impact of Hyundai Motor Company's investment on he GDP of the Moravian Silesian region, employment rate in the Moravian Silesian region and in the Czech Republicand and the structure of the Czech economy. Finally, there are defined benefits and the negative effects that the investment could bring.
