| dc.description.abstract | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou vybraných povodňových událostí v povodí Opavy s využitím GIS. V první části je popsána charakteristika dané oblasti a fyzicko-geografické faktory. Dále úpravy na toku řeky Opavy a jejich přítocích, spolu se shrnutím povodňových událostí od 19. po 20. století. V další části práce jsou pospány Geografické informační systémy – ArcMap, SagaGIS a GRASS GIS, které byly využity k analýzám a samostatné hydrologické modelování. Závěr je zaměřen na zhodnocení výsledků. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract | This bachelors essay deals with analysis of the selected flood events within the Opava catchment with the support of GIS. The first part deals with the particular geographical characteristics of the selected area. The next section describes channel and watershed management of river Opava and its tributaries and finally summary of floods from 19. to 20. century. The following described geographic information systems ESRI ArcMap, GIS, SAGA GIS and GRASS GIS used for the analysis and hydrologic models.
