Monitorování počítačových sítí pomocí systému Nagios

Abstract

V předložené práci je zpracován popis monitorování počítačových sítí pomocí systému Nagios a je navržen a implementován plugin pro monitorování hardwarového firewallu ASA5512-x. V první části práce jsou vysvětleny základní typy sítí a jejich topologie, aktivní prvky a jejich typy. Následně jsou uvedeny způsoby monitorování těchto prvků a nástroje, které získávají potřebné informace o jejich stavu. V druhé části práce je začleněno praktické řešení návrhu a implementace pluginu pro monitorování výše uvedeného zařízení. Závěr práce ukazuje výsledek implementace pluginu a možné další rozšíření využití vlastních zásuvných modulů.

In the presented thesis is described a description of the network monitoring system Nagios and designed and is a plugin for monitoring hardware firewall ASA5512-x implemented. The first part explains the basic types of networks and their topologies, active devices and their types. Ways to monitor these devices and tools to get the necessary information about their condition following. In the second part a practical solution of design and implementation of monitoring plugin of equipment mentioned above is incorporated. Conclusion The work shows the result of the implementation of the plugin and possible further expansion of the use of its own plug-ins.
