dc.description.abstract | Ground-supported tanks are used to store a variety of liquids. During earthquake activity the
liquid exerts impulsive and convective pressures (sloshing) on the walls and bottom of the rectangular
tank. This paper provides theoretical background for analytical calculating of circular frequencies and
