| dc.description.abstract | Ropa je strategickou surovinou lidstva, má podstatný vliv na světovou ekonomiku i politiku. Tato práce popisuje současný stav nabídky a poptávky na světovém trhu s ropou. Posuzuje faktory, které nabídku a poptávku na tomto trhu formují. Součástí práce je také shrnutí historických událostí, které ropný trh ovlivnily a zhodnocení jeho současného stavu se zaměřením na vývoj ceny ropy. Práce s využitím dostupných dat nastiňuje možný budoucí vývoj ropného trhu. | cs |

This dissertation describes the contemporary supply and demand situation on the world oil market. It assesses the demand and supply shaping factors on this type of market. One part of this dissertation includes the summary of historical events which affected the crude oil market and the evaluation of current situation focused on the oil price development.
