The Study is focused on machining of complex components in one clamping. Two methods of machining are discussed herein, with conventional machines and a multifunctional machine. The study compares the design solution of both machines as well as elements with potential to improve the efficiency of production. Machining using conventional machines is very time-demanding, not only with regard to the machining, but also preparation and transport times. With multifunctional machines we reduce the time significantly. The study includes an experiment on a selected production component. The result is more efficient production using the multi-functional machine tool and correct selection of the machines for production.cs
