Návrh a zhotovení dýky inspirované keltským uměním

Abstract

Cílem této práce bylo zhotovení repliky Keltské dýky. Primárně šlo o vytvoření odlitku střenky z bronzu. Odléval jsem pomocí techniky lití do písku. Také jsem vytvářel souvisejících části dýky jmenovitě čepel a pouzdro. Teoretická část byla zaměřena na Keltskou kulturu od zbraní, kterými se Keltové vyzbrojovali až po mystické symboly druidů. Poslední kapitola teoretické části je zaměřena na světové zbraně od Říma až po daleké Japonsko. Zde byl stručný popis funkce těchto zbraní. Praktická část se zabývá postupem výroby. Pracovní postup je popsán od samotného návrhu, až po vytváření doplňujících částí a následné spojení do jednoho celku.

The aim of this work was to make a replica of a Celtic dagger. It was primarily a matter of creating a bronze handle casting. I cast using the sand casting technique. I also created related dagger parts namely the blade and the holster. The theoretical part focused on Celtic culture, from the weapons with which the Celts armed themselves to the mystical symbols of the Druids. The last chapter of the theoretical part focuses on world weapons from Rome to faraway Japan. There was also a brief description of the function of these weapons. The practical part deals with the production process. The working procedure is described from the design itself to the creation of additional parts and subsequent connection into one unit.
