Conversion of Jezdkovice Château to multifunctional space in response to post-pandemic/war era

Abstract

The project will be focused on the conversion of Jezdkovice Château to an adaptive space in which individual cells and communal wide space will be entwined. The rigid functional space of it and its renaissance garden will be complemented by an evolving multifunctional space that can serve as common and private areas. The design will challenge the conventional space interpretation of a specific program. Changing From individual units to large-scale indoor areas and vice versa with respect to the need of the situation. The main theme of the project will be Accommodation plus community center. The accommodation will be adaptive to the need of the time, whether it is self-isolated housing or a crowd-serving hall. It will be also used as a public space for different social activity programs as the space allocated for the community center will be used in reverse. The principle will be also used in the outdoor space of the intervened area also. What is common will be private and vice versa depending on the scenario. Newly acquired knowledge and experience from the Covid pandemic and the migration crisis will need to be taken into account in the proposal

Projekt bude zaměřen na přestavbu zámku Jezdkovice na adaptivní prostor, ve kterém jednotlivé buňky a společný široký prostor budou propleteny. Tuhý funkční prostor toho a jeho renesanční zahrada bude doplněna o rozvíjející se multifunkční prostor, který může sloužit jako společný a soukromé oblasti. Návrh zpochybní konvenční prostorovou interpretaci konkrétního programu. Přechod z jednotlivých jednotek na velké vnitřní prostory a naopak s ohledem na potřeby situace. Hlavním tématem projektu bude Ubytování plus komunitní centrum. Ubytování bude přizpůsobí se potřebám doby, ať už se jedná o samostatné bydlení nebo halu s obsluhou lidí. Bude také slouží jako veřejný prostor pro různé programy společenských aktivit jako prostor určený pro komunitní centrum bude použit obráceně. Princip bude využit i ve venkovním prostoru zasahovaného prostoru. Co je společné, bude soukromé a naopak v závislosti na scénáři. Nově nabyté znalosti a bude třeba zohlednit zkušenosti z pandemie Covid a migrační krize návrh
