dc.description.abstract | The Menza building in VSB-Technical University of Ostrava is one of the old buildings inside the campus which needs digitization for facility management and potential reconstruction in future. The existing documentation is used to create a 2D model, further which 3D model is created using them. The other way in creating an as-build model is also explored. The as-build model is created by 3D Laser Scanning the whole building. The scanned data which has point clouds will be used to create the as-build model which has high accuracy than the design model. It is also used as a comparison tool for design and execution of the building plan. The acquired graphic model which has the details of the building including its properties will be saved in CDE (Common Data Environment) and can be used anytime for the i
