Studie vlivu ekonomických faktorů na poptávku a produkci vybraných nerostných surovin

Abstract

V disertační práci se zkoumají ekonometrické modely, které analyzují závislosti vybraných ekonomických faktorů na produkci vybraných kovových komodit. Cílem je sestavit adekvátní ekonometrické modely a poskytnout tak ucelenější porozumění této závislosti. Úvodní kapitoly popisují teoretický základ zejména ekonometrie a vybraných komodit. Práce se zaměřuje na pět komodit z kovové skupiny, konkrétně měď, hliník, chrom, stříbro a platina. V praktické části práce jsou použity jednorozměrné regresní modely, které zkoumají jednotlivé ekonomické faktory a jejich vliv na světovou produkci těchto komodit. Na základě výsledků je určen ten faktor, který nejlépe vystihuje vztah mezi ekonomickými faktory a produkcí. Dále je provedeno vícerozměrné regresní modelování, kde jsou zkoumány kombinace různých ekonomických faktorů. Jednorozměrné i vícerozměrné regresní modely jsou testovány. Pomocí posuzování multikolinearity je vybrána kombinace faktorů, která nejlépe vystihuje závislost světové produkce vybraných kovů. Regresní modely s nejlepšími výsledky jsou pak použity pro pětiletou predikci vývoje těchto komodit. Závěr práce popisuje výsledky jednorozměrného, vícerozměrného regresního modelování a predikcí vybraných komodit.

The dissertation examines econometric models that analyse the dependence of selected economic factors on the production of selected metal commodities. The goal is to build adequate econometric models and thus provide a more comprehensive understanding of this dependence. The introductory chapters describe the theoretical basis of econometrics and selected commodities. The work focuses on five commodities from the metal group, namely copper, aluminium, chrome, silver, and platinum. In the practical part of the work, one-dimensional regression models are used, which examine individual economic factors and their influence on the world production of these commodities. Based on the results, the factor that best describes the relationship between economic factors and production is determined. Furthermore, multivariate regression modelling is carried out, where combinations of various economic factors are investigated. Both univariate and multivariate regression models are tested. Using multicollinearity assessment, a combination of factors is selected that best describes the dependence of world production of selected metals. The regression models with the best results are then used for a five-year prediction of the development of these commodities. The conclusion of the thesis describes the results of univariate and multivariate regression modelling and predictions of selected commodities.
