Annual report on activities of VSB-TUO for 2023 : Main part

Abstract

The year 2023 brought some positive trends. There was an increase in the number of enrolled students, which was again higher than in previous years, confirming the trend of increasing student numbers at the university we have been seeing for several years. The optimisation of the course offer is continuing and, although new academic and professional study programmes are being created to reflect demand on the labour market, a significantly larger number of study programmes are also being phased out. The university has been successful in the challenging process of extending its institutional accreditation to a new field, allowing further development in cybernetics.
