Implementace a analýza Wireguard VPN v operačních systémech Linux a u síťových prvků

Abstract

Bakalárska práca sa zameriava na VPN (Virtuálnu Privátnu Sieť). Demonštruje jednoduchosť a komfort pri vytváraní VPN spojení. Práca obsahuje teoretický opis VPN možnosti, WireGuard VPN, vrátane podporovaných systémov a zabezpečení. Detailne analyzuje mechanizmy zaisťujúce bezpečnú komunikáciu. Praktická časť práce zahŕňa inštaláciu, implementáciu, konfiguráciu WireGuard VPN na rôznych operačných systémoch a sieťových prvkoch. Zaoberá sa výkonovými testami priepustnosti a porovnávaním s konkurenčnými technológiami (OpenVPN, IPsec VPN), kde nasleduje analýza nameraných hodnôt priepustnosti. Práca dokumentuje navrhované riešenia a prezentuje výsledky skúmania.

The bachelor thesis focuses on VPN (Virtual Private Network). It demonstrates the ease and convenience of creating VPN connections. The thesis includes a theoretical description of the VPN options, WireGuard VPN, including supported systems and security. It analyzes in detail the mechanisms ensuring secure communication. The practical part of the thesis includes installation, implementation, configuration of WireGuard VPN on different operating systems and network elements. It deals with throughput performance tests and comparisons with competing technologies (OpenVPN, IPsec VPN), followed by analysis of measured throughput values. The thesis documents the proposed solutions and presents the results of the research.
