Návrh dílčí optimalizace nakládání s odpady ve vybrané nemocnici

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou nakládání s odpady ve zdravotnictví na příkladu Nemocnice Most. Analyzuje současný stav odpadového hospodářství, hodnotí jeho soulad s platnou legislativou a identifikuje oblasti pro zlepšení. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována nakládání s nebezpečným, infekčním a kuchyňským odpadem. Výzkum vychází z interních dokumentů, údajů z Informačního systému odpadového hospodářství (ISOH) a konzultací se zaměstnanci nemocnice včetně odpadové hospodářky. V návrhové části práce jsou představena opatření jako instalace elektrického kompostéru, zavedení dekontaminační jednotky a dlouhodobě i zvažování pyrolýzního zpracování. Výsledky této práce mohou být využity nejen v rámci konkrétní nemocnice, ale také jako vzor pro ostatní zdravotnická zařízení.

This thesis addresses the issue of waste management in the healthcare sector, using the Most Hospital as a case study. It analyzes the current state of waste management, assesses its compliance with applicable legislation, and identifies areas for improvement. Special attention is paid to the handling of hazardous, infectious, and kitchen waste. The research is based on internal documents, data from the Information System for Waste Management (ISOH), and consultations with hospital staff, including the waste management officer. In the proposal section, the thesis introduces measures such as the installation of an electric composter, the implementation of a decontamination unit, and, in the long term, the consideration of pyrolytic waste treatment. The results of this work can be used not only within the Most Hospital but also as a model for other healthcare facilities.
