dc.description.abstract-en | The reactive stresses of tensile prestrained specimens of two hotrolled TiNi alloys were investigated. Alloy A containing 50.8 at.% nickel exhibited pseudoelastic properties at room temperature. Alloy B (49.5 at.% nickel) had a martensitic structure at room temperature. The reactive stresses are higher if the change in shape is accompanied by a stress-induced martensitic transformation, i.e. they are higher for specimens A than for specimens B. | en |
