dc.description.abstract-enThis bachelor thesis deals with the visualization of actual earthquakes and lithospheric plaques symbols in Google Earth application. There is a description of an earthquake in the text, with its basic facts, demonstrations and impacts. The RSS channel of the ORFEUS project helped in obtaining particular data about epicenter. The epicentre visualization was provided by the KML format in Google Earth application. Further part of the text deals with the transfer adjustment between the RSS channel and the KML format, so that all the proposals and suggestions could be fulfilled. Designs and rules of the point signs can be also found in the thesis according to which it is clear to depict various epicentres in application. Nevertheless, together with these principles, certain limitations of the implemented solution have appeared both in terms of the epicentre symbols and lithospheric plaques.
