Knihovna v Ostravě

Abstract

Diplomová práce obsahuje návrh Knihovny v Ostravě. Návrh se skládá z objektu knihovny a šesti objekty pro sklad dokumentů. Knihovna je navržena dle stavebního programu MVK. Součástí návrhu knihovny je zpracování urbanistické vize, která umožní propojení západní části historického centra s městkou částí za železničním koridorem. Stavba knihovny je v návrhu počátečním bodem nového náměstí a pěšího koridoru. Cílem diplomové práce je správný návrh objektu knihovny a její urbanistické začlenění do městského prostoru, který je v současnosti pouze okrajovou částí centra.

This Graduation Theses contains a design of the Library in Ostrava. The project consists of the Library object and of six objects for store of the dokuments. The Library is designed in accordance with the building program MVK. Elaboration of the abstraction urban project is a part of the Design. This project enables the interconnexion of the western part of the historical Centre with the urban neighbourhood behind the railway corridor. The Library building is an initial point of a new square and walking corridor. The intention of the Graduation Theses is the correct project of the Library object and its urban integration of the city area that is only a marginal part of the Centre nowadays.
