Regionální a strukturální politika EU a konkrétní příklad čerpání Evropského fondu regionálního rozvoje

Abstract

V předloţené práci si je kladeno za cíl přiblíţit jednu z nejvýznamnějších evropských politik, tzv. Regionální a strukturální politiku. V první části je objasněn vznik a vývoj regionální a strukturální politiky v období let 1951-2006, její principy a cíle regionální a strukturální politiky Evropské unie v období let 1994-2013. V další části je provedena analýza struktury fondů a institucí financujících regionální a strukturální politiku a systémová analýza moţností čerpání finančních prostředků z Evropských fondů pro region. Závěr práce analyzuje konkrétní příklad čerpání z Evropského fondu regionálního rozvoje vztaţený na město Ţatec, kde v současné době probíhá projekt jehoţ cílem je oţivení historického jádra města, podpora rozvoje moderních podnikatelských prvků vázaných na tuzemský i zahraniční cestovní ruch, zlepšení podmínek pro malé i střední podnikání v oblasti infrastruktury turistických sluţeb a zvětšení počtu návštěvníků v celém regionu Ţatecké chmelařské oblasti, která se platonicky přezdívá „Chrám chmele a piva“.

The aim of this diploma work is to introduce one of the most important European policy, so-called the regional and structural policy. In the first part there is explained the beginning and development of the regional policy in the period 1951-2006, its principles and aims of the regional and structural policy of the European union in the period 1994-2013. In the next part there are an analysis of the structure of funds and institutions, which finance the regional and structural policy, and a system analysis of possibilities of using the financial resources from the European funds for the region. The last part analyzes the concrete example of using the financial resources from the European funds of regional development connected with the town Zatec. In Zatec there is a project, which is focused on the revival of the historical town core, the support of developmnet of modern business elements focused on national and foreign tourism, the improvement of conditions for small and middle business in the area of infrastructure of touristic services and the increasing of the number of visitors in the whole region of the Zatec's hop area, which is nicknamed „The Temple of Hop and Beer “.
