Abstract

Event Management je jednou z hlavních činností provozu IT and cílem této bakalářské práce je navrhnout design Event Management procesu podle ITIL V3 – moderní, spolehlivý a efektivní. Tato bakalářská práce je rozdělena do dvou částí: první část je teoretická, zabývající se ITILem a jeho odlišnostmi v přístupu k Event Managementu ve verzích 2 a 3, druhá část obsahuje navržený design Event Management systému. Navržený design je založen na praktických zkušenostech s Event Management and jeho implementace od předních světových dodavatelů.

Event Management is one the main activities of IT operations and the aim of this bachelor theses is to propose a design of the Event Management process according to ITIL V3 - to be modern, reliable and efficient. This thesis is splitted into two parts: first part is theoretical, dealing with ITIL and differences in V2 and V3 approach to the Event Management, second part contains proposed design of the Event Management system. Proposed design is based on praktical experience with Event Management and its implementations from the main world vendors.
