Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce popisuje absolvování praxe u společnosti Tieto Czech s.r.o. na pozici Automation a Performance tester. Během celé praxe byly vykonávány úkoly zejména z oblasti testování softwaru. První část praxe pojednává o automatizovaném testování, o nástrojích použitých pro automatizaci, řešení problémů při přechodu ze starších, dnes již méně podporovaných technologií na modernější webové rozhraní a o možnosti plně automatizovat testování, kdy je tester pouze v roli vývojáře nových skriptů nikoli jako obsluha automatizačního skriptu. Druhá část se věnuje nefunkcionálnímu testování a to především zátěžovým testům, kde se jako základní stavební kameny využívají Web testy a Unit testy.

The bachelor thesis describes the completion of the practice in Tieto Czech s.r.o. as an Automation and a Performance Tester. Throughout the practice performed tasks were mainly in the field of software testing. The first part of the practice treats automated testing, tools used for automatization, the solution in the transition from older, nowadays less supported technologies to the modern web interface and the possibility to fully automated testing, the tester is only a developer of new scripts, not operator of an automation script. The second part is devoted to nonfunctional testing, mainly stress testing where the basic building blocks are Web tests and Unit tests.
