| dc.description.abstract | Dřevěné střešní konstrukce představují nejvýznamější příklad tradičních dřevěných
konstrukcí, při jejichž studiu se musí zohlednit několik faktorů. Za prvé, že krovy prošly během
staletí dlouhým vývojem a za druhé, že na vývoji střešních konstrukcí se výrazným způsobem
projevila i typologie spojů. Typ spojů, jejich tuhost a únosnost výrazně ovlivňují nejen použitelnost,
ale i odolnost a životnost konstrukcí, zvláště při cyklickém zatížení. | cs |

| dc.description.abstract-en | Roof timber structures represent one of the most important examples of antique wide-span
structures; when studying them, several factors need considering. Firstly, roof frames have undergone
a good deal of development of the structural schemes and improvement of layout along the centuries.
Secondly, the evolution of structural frames involved changes in the structural behaviour and in the
typology of joints. The type of joints, their stiffness and slip properties, considerably influence not
only the serviceability and carrying resistance, but also the durability and the lifetime of the structures
particularly under cyclic loading. | cs |
