Finanční analýza metalurgického podniku

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá finanční analýzou společnosti ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s. v letech 2009 – 2011. Podklady pro zpracování finanční analýzy byly rozvaha a výkaz zisku a ztráty v letech 2009 – 2011. Cílem diplomové práce je odhalit silné a slabé stránky podniku v oblasti finančního hospodaření, navrhnout doporučení k nápravě a celkově zhodnotit jeho ekonomickou situaci. V první části je popsána stručná charakteristika společnosti. Obsahovou náplní druhé části je teoretické vymezení finanční analýzy a následná aplikace těchto teoretických poznatků v praxi. Návrhy na zlepšení finanční situace společně s celkovým zhodnocením jsou součástí poslední části práce.

This thesis deals with the financial analysis of the company ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s. in the years 2009 - 2011. Materials for processing financial analysis and the balance sheet and the profit and loss account in the period 2009 - 2011. The purpose of this thesis is a discovery of firm´s weak sides in the area of financial economy, to suggest a recommendation for remedy and to generally assess its economic situacion. The first part of the thesis describes a brief description of the company. The content of the second part of the theoretical definition financial analysis and subsequent application of theoretical knowledge in practice. These suggestion and recommendations, together with the overall evaluation are included in the last part.
