Možnosti měnové integrace Jihoafrického rozvojového společenství

Abstract

Cílem předkládané práce je zjistit, zda mají země Jihoafrického rozvojového společenství předpoklady pro vytvoření měnové unie. Dále je zde pomocí vhodných ekonometrických metod odhadnut model pro výpočet indexu optimální měnové oblasti pro vybrané země Jihoafrického rozvojového společenství. V práci byla dále použita metoda komparace a deskripce. První kapitola se zabývá teoretickými východisky měnové unie a optimální měnové oblasti. Druhá kapitola se zabývá Jihoafrickým rozvojovým společenstvím a ekonomickou situací jednotlivých členských zemí. Třetí kapitola se zabývá vybranými kritérii teorie optimální měnové oblasti a odhadnutím modelu pro výpočet indexu OCA.

The aim of the thesis is to find out whether the countries of the South African Development Community are qualified to create a monetary union. Moreover, by means of econometric methods it estimates the model for calculation of the index of optimum currency area for selected countries of the South African Development Community. There was comparison and description also used in the thesis. The first chapter deals with theoretical fundaments of a monetary union and optimum currency area. The second chapter focuses on the South African Development Community and on economic situations of individual member states. The third chapter addresses selected criteria of the theory of optimum currency area and the estimation of the model for calculation of the OCA Index.
