Švédský stát blahobytu a jeho současná podoba

Abstract

Cílem diplomové práce „Švédský stát blahobytu a jeho současná podoba“ je na základě analyticko – syntetické a deskriptivní metody, prozkoumat základní pilíře, na kterých je postaven švédský model hospodářské politiky od počátku 30. let 20. století až do současnosti a následně poukázat na vliv změn v přístupu ke státu blahobytu na stabilitu švédské ekonomiky. Přibližně v 70. letech 20. století se začaly projevovat slabé stránky a limity modelu státu blahobytu, které byly výsledkem dosažení určité hranice, po jejímž překročení se již množství poskytovaných sociálních služeb dostávalo do rozporu s celkovou ekonomickou výkonností. Řešením této situace nebyl zánik konceptu státu blahobytu, nýbrž jeho postupná adaptace na měnící se podmínky, s cílem zajistit jeho dlouhodobou udržitelnost. V práci je pozornost zaměřena na změny ve fiskální politice a v daňovém zatížení ve Švédsku, jelikož jsou tyto oblasti se státem blahobytu spojeny a řadily se mezi hlavní příčiny vedoucí k nutnosti modifikace původních myšlenek této koncepce.

The aim of the diploma thesis "Swedish welfare state and its current form" is to explore the basic pillars on which the Swedish model of economic policy has been built since the early 30s of the 20th century to the present, using the analytic - synthetic and descriptive method, as well as to point out the influence of the changes in the approach to the welfare state on the stability of the Swedish economy. Approximately in the 1970s weaknesses and limits of the model of the welfare state began to manifest themselves. These were the result of achieving certain limits, beyond which the amount of social services provided by the state got into conflict with the overall economic performance. The solution to this situation was not the disappearance of the concept of the welfare state, but its gradual adaptation to changing conditions, in order to ensure its long term sustainability. In this thesis, attention is focused on the changes in fiscal policy and tax burden in Sweden, as these areas are linked to the welfare state and ranked among the main causes leading to the need for modification of the original ideas of this concept.
