Minimální mzdy na trzích práce

Abstract

Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je zhodnotit vliv minimální mzdy na fungování trhu práce v České republice a ve vybraných zemích. První kapitola vysvětluje pojem minimální mzda, její vznik, funkce a ekonomické teorie. Druhá kapitola je věnována minimální mzdě ve vybraných zemích. Nejprve jsou vybrány země, kde minimální mzda je stanovována zákonem a to Slovensko, Spojené státy americké a Francie. Jako poslední zemí je vybráno Německo, kde minimální mzda je stanovená v rámci kolektivního vyjednávání. Třetí kapitola popisuje legislativní vymezení minimální mzdy v České republice a její vývoj od roku 1993. Samotnému závěru předchází návrhy a doporučení v oblasti minimálních mezd.

The main objective of this thesis is to evaluate the impact of the minimum wage on the functioning of the labour market in the Czech Republic and in selected countries. The first chapter explains the concept of the minimum wage, its evolution, functions and economic theories. The second chapter describes the minimum wage in selected countries. First there are selected countries where the minimum wage is determined by law, such as Slovakia, the United States and France. The last selected country is Germany, where the minimum wage is set within collective bargaining. The third chapter describes the legislative background of the minimum wage in the Czech Republic and its development since 1993. The end of this thesis contains suggestions and recommendations on the minimum wage and a conclusion.
