Evropská unie a boj proti terorismu

Abstract

Hrozba mezinárodního terorismu je v naší společnosti aktuálním bezpečnostním problémem. Evropská unie se s tímto jevem snaží bojovat vytvářením protiteroristických nástrojů a opatření. Jejich účinnosti bude dosaženo zejména prostřednictvím spolupráce jak se zahraničními partnery, tak především s jejími členskými státy. Cílem této bakalářské práce je základní charakteristika mezinárodního terorismu a boje proti této hrozbě v rámci Evropské unie a České republiky s důrazem na analýzu jednotlivých forem působení tohoto boje. Práce je věnována definování mezinárodního terorismu, včetně vymezení metod, které teroristé využívají k dosažení svých cílů. Zabývá se rovněž jednotlivými protiteroristickými nástroji a opatřeními Evropské unie a České republiky. Pozornost je věnována také aktuální hrozbě terorismu v České republice.

The threat of international terrorism is in our society current security problem. The European Union tries to fight with this phenomenon by creating counter-terrorism instrumensts and measures. Efficiency will be achieved mainly through cooperation with foreign partners, and especially with its Member States. The objective of this Bachelor´s thesis is the basic characteristic of international terrorism and the fight against this threat within the European Union and the Czech Republic with an emphasis in analysis of individual forms of effect this fight. The thesis deals with the definition of international terrorism, including methods which terrorists use to achieve their goals. It also deals with individual counter-terrorism instruments and measures of the European Union and the Czech Republic. Attention is also paid to the current threat of terrorism in the Czech Republic.
