Zhodnocení konkurenceschopnosti podniku se zaměřením na jeho finanční stabilitu

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na konkurencechopnost a finanční analýzu středního podniku. Teoretická část této práce je zaměřena na definici pojmů, poznatků ze zkoumané problematiky a detailní rozebrání vybraných metod, které budou následně prakticky využity v druhé části práce pro identifikaci konkurenceschopnosti podniku nebo k finanční analýze. Praktická část obsahuje popis zkoumaného podniku a následně identifikaci jeho konkurence pomocí metod PESTE a Porterovy analýzy pěti konkurenčních sil. Výsledky z těchto analýz jsou sjednoceny a vyhodnoceny v analýze SWOT a nakonec je provedena finanční analýza. Ze zjštěných výsledků vyplývá, že Imperial Hotel Ostrava patří mezi čtveřici předních a nejvyhledávanějších hotelů v Ostravě a rozdíly mezi nimi jsou opravdu malé. V sortimentu nabízených služeb, jejich kvalitě a ceně žádný z těchto hotelů nijak nevyčnívá, ani naopak nezaostává.

The Bachelor thesis is focused on the competitiveness and financial analysis of a medium sized company. The theoretical part covers the terminology, findings in the researched field and minute analysis of chosen methods that are applied in the practical part in order to identify the competitiveness of the company and to help with the financial analysis. The practical part is focused on the description of the company followed by identification of its competition via PESTLE analysis and Porter’s five forces analysis. The results of those analyses are united and evaluated in SWOT analysis; finally, the financial analysis is executed. The results have shown that Imperial Hotel Ostrava belongs among four leading and the most sought-after hotels in Ostrava and the differences among the above-mentioned are insignificant. None of the hotels protrudes from the group by offering services or by quality or prices.
