The article presents the issues associated with the purification of process gas from biomass gasification. The division of filtering technology working in the vacuum available for different applications was described. Expected high purity gas is required for more complex devices and energy conversion processes contained in the fuel. The occurrence of several pollutants simultaneously impedes the process of filtration. It adversely affected the efficiency of filtering devices work air raising financial outlays. In the gasification process arise a mixture of pollutants, particulate matter and tars, which are obstacles for the further use of gas. Institute of Energy Research Center in Ostrava, conducts research on high-temperature gas cleaning processes of biomass gasification. Test technology gives interesting results which can be expected that it may be used in commercial installations.cs
