Determinanty ekonomického růstu a rozvoje Číny

Abstract

V této diplomové práci je rozebrán ekonomický růst a rozvoj Čínské lidové republiky v letech 1981-2013. Cílem práce je identifikovat a popsat základní determinanty ekonomického růstu a rozvoje Číny. V teoretické části práce nalezneme teoretické vymezení ekonomického růstu a rozvoje. Jsou zde stručně popsány jednotlivé modely teorií růstu a historie jejich vývoje. Dále je v kapitole popsán ekonomický rozvoj, jeho definice či hlavní determinanty. Třetí kapitola nabízí shrnutí ekonomického rozvoje Číny a jeho charakteristiku od konce druhé světové války po současnost. Pozornost je kladena hlavně na období po roce 1978, kdy v Číně započaly rozsáhlé reformní kroky, které jsou dodnes příčinou tak markantního ekonomického rozmachu v zemi. Čtvrtá kapitola je věnována vlastní ekonometrické analýze determinant ekonomického růstu a rozvoje Číny. Autorkou jsou vybrány ukazatele, které prezentují jednotlivé determinanty ekonomického růstu a rozvoje čínské ekonomiky, a to dle teoretického konceptu produkční funkce dle Lucasova modelu s lidským kapitálem. Jelikož je ve vývoji sledovaných dat viditelný strukturální bod zlomu, je tato hypotéza ověřena prostřednictvím Chowova testu, díky kterému lze interpretovat vývoj daných makroekonomických ukazatelů na přelomu 20. a 21. století

This diploma thesis analyzes the economic growth and development of the People's Republic of China between 1981 and 2013. The aim of this work is to identify and describe the basic determinants of China's economic growth and development. In the theoretical part we find the theoretical definition of economic growth and development. There are briefly described the various models of growth theories and the history of their development. Further, the chapter describes economic development, its definition or main determinants. The third chapter provides a summary of China's economic development and its characteristics from the end of World War II to the present. Attention is mainly given to the period after 1978, when China's massive reform steps have begun, which are still the cause of such a marked economic boom in the country. The fourth chapter is devoted to its own econometric analysis of China's economic growth and development determinants. The author chooses the indicators that present the individual determinants of economic growth and the development of the Chinese economy, according to the theoretical concept of production function according to the Lucas model with human capital. As the visible structural breakpoint is visible in the development of the monitored data, this hypothesis is verified through Chow's test, which can interpret the development of the given macroeconomic indicators at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries.
