Analýza financování a hospodaření vybraného nadačního fondu

Abstract

Neziskové organizace jsou zakládány za účelem uspokojení potřeb svých členů nebo široké veřejnosti. Provozují různé činnosti, které určitým způsobem zasahují do života lidí. V současné době lze uvést příklad, kdy některé neziskové organizace pomáhají při boji s celosvětovou pandemií. Cílem této diplomové práce je charakterizovat právě neziskové organizace, blíže se zaměřit na nadační fondy a provést analýzu hospodaření vybraného nadačního fondu. K dosažení cíle bylo použito metod analýzy, srovnání a syntézy. Nejprve jsou v práci obecně charakterizovány neziskové organizace. V další kapitole je provedena charakteristika nadačních fondů se zaměřením na vybraný nadační fond. V závěrečné části práce je proveden analýza hospodaření vybraného nadačního fondu a jsou zde také shrnuty výsledky finanční analýzy. Dle výsledků provedené analýzy lze celkově hodnotit hospodaření vybraného nadačního fondu kladně. Nadační fond však velké množství peněžních prostředků drží na neúročeném bankovním účtu. Proto bylo navrženo převedení části těchto prostředků, na již existující spořící účet, nebo investovat do nového dlouhodobého majetku, dluhopisů či jiných cenných papírů.

Non-profit organizations are established to satisfy needs of members or the general public. They pursue various activities, which in a certain way effect people's lives. Nowadays, the example can be whenever non-profit organizations help fight the global pandemics. The purpouse of this diploma thesis is to characterize non-profit organizations, to focus more on endowment funds and to execute the analysis of economy of a selected endowment fund. Methods of analysis, comparison and synthesis were used to achieve the goal. First in my work are the non-profit organizations generally characterized. The next chapter characterises the endowment funds with a focus on the chosen one. The final part of my work analyses the economy of the chosen endowment fund and summarizes the outcomes of the financial analysis. According to the results the economy of the fund can be overall rated positively. However the endowment fund holds many resources in a non-interest bearing banking account. Therefore, it was proposed to transfer parts of these funds to an existing savings account, or to invest in fixed assets, bonds or other securities.
