The benefits and opportunities of using virtual reality (VR) in education have been the subject of research for several decades. Descriptions of individual VR applications can be found in the literature, but there is no structured analysis of these applications on the market. This study analyses the market of VR educational applications in 2019 - 2021 in addition to monitoring development trends in their offerings, content and parameters. This study aims to map the VR applications that teachers currently have available to include as part of the learning process. Another goal was to analyse the user evaluation of VR educational applications and compile an overview of them, to see which applications users appreciate the most. The results indicated that more than half of the sample applications are available free of charge, they mostly use English as the communication language and users' best rated applications are from the areas connected to nature, space, medicine, art and history.cs
