Determinanty dlouhodobé nezaměstnanosti v Evropské unii

Abstract

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na determinanty dlouhodobé nezaměstnanosti v zemích EU. Na základě rešerší a empirické literatury jsou vybrány determinanty, které působí v různé míře na obecnou míru dlouhodobé nezaměstnanosti. Analýza vybraných determinantů je prováděna za pomocí panelové regrese v období od 2010-2021 v programu STATA 15. Výsledky jsou prezentovány formou tabulek nejprve pro obecnou míru dlouhodobé nezaměstnanosti, a poté pro podíl dlouhodobé nezaměstnanosti z celkové nezaměstnanosti. Výsledky analýzy jsou následně porovnány s výsledky prací ostatních autorů a s hypotézami stanovenými na začátku práce. Významný vliv na dlouhodobou nezaměstnanost mají dle analýzy inflace, termínované a kratší pracovní úvazky, podíl lidí, kteří podnikají z celkové ekonomické aktivity, efektivní daňová sazba a HDP.

The master's thesis focuses on the determinants of long-term unemployment in EU countries. Based on research and empirical literature, determinants are selected that affect the general level of long-term unemployment to varying degrees. The analysis of selected determinants is conducted using panel regression from 2010 to 2021 in STATA 15. The results are presented in the form of tables first for the general level of long-term unemployment, and then for the proportion of long-term unemployment from total unemployment. The results of the analysis are subsequently compared with the results of other authors' works and with hypotheses set at the beginning of the thesis. According to the analysis, significant influences on long-term unemployment include inflation, fixed-term and shorter work contracts, the proportion of people engaged in entrepreneurial activities out of total economic activity, effective tax rates, and GDP.
