Obchodní vztahy vybraných zemí Afriky s Evropskou unií a Spojenými státy americkými

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřená na analýzu obchodních vztahů vybraných afrických zemích s Evropskou unií a Spojenými státy americkými. Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnocení obchodních vztahů mezi vybranými africkými zeměmi a EU a USA, a to na úrovni zbožové struktury exportu a importu dle klasifikace SITC 1. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do pěti kapitol, první kapitola je úvod, poslední kapitola je závěr. Druhá kapitola se zabývá základními aspekty mezinárodního obchodu a vybranými obchodními teoriemi, s důrazem na protekcionistická opatření a liberalistické nástroje. Třetí kapitola popisuje africký kontinent v historickém kontextu a charakterizuje jednotlivé regiony a obchodní vztahy s EU a USA, zaměřuje se také na vybrané africké země – Maroko, Nigérii, Jihoafrickou republiku, Gabon a Namibii. Praktická část analyzuje obchodní vztahy mezi vybranými zeměmi s EU a USA za pomoci matematicko-statistických nástrojů. Závěr práce shrnuje hlavní poznatky a předpovídá další vývoj obchodních vztahů.

This thesis focuses on the analysis of trade relations of selected African countries with the European Union and the United States of America. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the trade relations between selected African countries and the EU and the USA, at the level of commodity structure of exports and imports according to the SITC 1 classification. The thesis is divided into five chapters, the first chapter is the introduction, the last chapter is the conclusion. The second chapter deals with the basic aspects of international trade and selected trade theories, with emphasis on protectionist measures and liberalist instruments. The third chapter describes the African continent in a historical context and characterises the different regions and trade relations with the EU and the US, also focusing on selected African countries - Morocco, Nigeria, South Africa, Gabon and Namibia. The practical part analyses the trade relations between the selected countries with the EU and the US using mathematical and statistical tools. The paper concludes by summarizing the main findings and predicting the future development of trade relations.
