Česká republika v kontextu 20. výročí členství v Evropské unii

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu členství České republiky v Evropské unii v kontextu 20. výročí jejího přistoupení. Práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí. První část se věnuje historickému vývoji evropské integrace a procesu rozšiřování EU se zvláštním důrazem na východní rozšíření v roce 2004. Druhá část podrobně mapuje cestu České republiky k členství, včetně přístupových jednání, harmonizace legislativy a využití předvstupních nástrojů. Třetí, analytická část hodnotí ekonomické a sociální dopady členství, a to na základě ukazatelů jako HDP, inflace, nezaměstnanost, příliv zahraničních investic a finanční bilance vůči rozpočtu EU. Součástí práce je rovněž zhodnocení postojů veřejnosti a shrnující SWOT analýza. Cílem práce je nabídnout ucelený pohled na proměnu České republiky v důsledku evropské integrace a posoudit, jakým způsobem členství ovlivnilo její vnitřní rozvoj a mezinárodní postavení.

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of the Czech Republic's membership in the European Union in the context of the 20th anniversary of its accession. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part deals with the historical development of European integration and the EU enlargement process, with special emphasis on the 2004 eastern enlargement. The second part maps the Czech Republic’s path to membership in detail, including accession negotiations, legislative harmonization, and the use of pre-accession instruments. The third, analytical part evaluates the economic and social impacts of EU membership, based on indicators such as GDP, inflation, unemployment, foreign direct investment inflow, and the financial balance with the EU budget. The thesis also includes an assessment of public opinion and a concluding SWOT analysis. The aim of the thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of the Czech Republic’s transformation as a result of European integration and to assess how membership has influenced its internal development and international position.
